Ready for a great vacation? Need a place to stay while on business or waiting for a home repair? Need a place for that retreat with your group? Or do you just want a winter home away from the cold and snow? Why not stay in a fully furnished, beach house? The house is a 3 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, spacious home with more than 2500 square feet. There are many reasons that make this the house for you.
As you arrive, the first thing you will notice is that there is abundant parking. There is a one car garage, room for another car in the driveway, and room for several cars on the street. There is a washer dryer in the garage and I provide boogie boards, beach chairs and lots of sand toys. There is an outdoor shower - perfect for washing off the sand. There is also a deck on the street level so you can relax and watch the sunset. As you enter the house you will see a large entry hall. From there you can enter one of the two bedrooms on this floor.
The other bedroom on the first floor has a daybed and a trundle- both with full-thickness mattresses. There is also a refrigerator, microwave, and sink in this room. This room has its own doors to exit.
The first bedroom has twin sized bunkbeds with standard mattresses for comfort. There are lots of books, games and storage in this room.
There is a bathroom on the first floor with a combination shower/tub.
As you proceed upstairs, you see the spacious living/dining area which is bright and has an open feeling with windows all around.The dining table seats eight and the counter bar has five stools so there is ample seating for larger groups. The living room has two sofas, one is a sleeper. There is a 42 inch hd tv with cable provided. There is also free wifi throughout the house. The living room also has a gas fireplace to keep warm on cool evenings. There are lots of dvd's and videos for all ages.
The view from the living room is wonderful any season. Below are the views from different windows in the living room, which include ocean, harbor and snow- topped mountains in the winter. The great harbor views are perfect for special events like Fourth of July fireworks, or the holiday boat parade. There are many festivals at the harbor which help make this a perfect family location. The Tall Ships come each year, right across the street! And don't forget the Strawberry Festival every May.
The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with appliances, dishes, flatware, and cooking ware. There is a refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, a five burner cooktop, trash compactor, dishwasher, oven, and two microwaves. The small appliances include a coffee maker, blender, mixer, waffle maker, and crock pot.There are plenty of dishes, flatware, and drinking glasses (tumblers, wine glasses, and margarita glasses. Above the burners is a pass through window which goes to a counter that is part of the deck.
The deck is sheltered on 3 sides and is a great place to relax and barbecue your dinner as you watch the sailboats go by. The table on the deck easily seats 6 and can seat 8. Across from the entry to the deck, is the second floor bathroom, which has a large stall shower. There is a bedroom next to the bathroom with a queen sized bed. Then, leaving the second floor, you proceed up the curved staircase to the third floor.
The top floor is entirely the master suite. The first sight you see is the deck which wraps around two sides of the house and has wonderful ocean views. From here you can relax to the sights and sounds of the ocean and see an occasional dolphin go by. The Channel Islands are easily visible on a clear day.
When you enter the master, you will see wonderful views all around you in the bright and spacious suite. There is a king sized bed, two dressers, and a gas fireplace. There is a work space with a desk, and a sitting area with a sofa, that also converts into a bed.
The spacious master bath has double sinks, double shower, and a tub for two. There is also a large walk in closet with plenty of room for all your clothes.
